Peek-a-Boo

It was hard to miss that Derek was one of the most beautiful people Stiles had ever seen in real life. Which is saying something given the supernatural hotness he’s constantly surrounded by. But he’d never been attracted to Derek. Not until this exact moment. They’re at the loft and Derek is wearing one of his fairly ubiquitous v-neck shirts. Whatever. Same old same old. What’s new are the curls of hair peeking out from the collar....

Prom

Derek’s not even sure why he’s so nervous about picking up Stiles for prom. They’ve been boyfriends for almost the entire four years of high school. His parents love Stiles and, heck, the sheriff likes him. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s wearing a suit and he’s really not used to dressing up. He feels awkward and out of his element—even though his mom insists that he looks very handsome....

Rabbit Stew

It started with a very bloody and very dead rabbit on his front step. It said something about Stiles’ life choices that the sight of something that might’ve once made him throw up, just set off a low current of dread in his stomach. Hard to be super grossed out by a dead rabbit when you’ve been on the verge of cutting someone’s arm off. Or seen that same person gutted on his feral uncle’s claws....

Safety, shelter, and other nice things

The only time Stiles feels safe these days is when he’s with Derek. So, he’s been spending as much time with Derek as he can. He feels safest, no question about it, when he’s in Derek’s arms. He can’t tell if his favourite is when Derek spoons him. Holding him close with inhuman strength; a warm, solid presence at his back. Or when Derek lies on top of him; a warm, heavy, solid blanket....

Stiles is the Worst Vampire

When Stiles came awake he was pissed. He almost wished he had a moment of disorientation instead of being perfectly aware of where he was and what had happened. Some asshole vampire had turned him. He was not going to let her get away with it. He looked around and several pieces of wood would work quite nicely as an emergency stake. Christ, but he was thirsty. Because he needed to drink blood....

Supporting Characters

Not long after Scott got bitten, fell in love, became a lacrosse superstar, and gained popularity, Stiles called him the ‘hot girl’. It had been a joke. It isn’t funny anymore. See… Everyone likes to think of themselves as the protagonists of their own story. If your life is a book then you’re the main character, right? Right? Stiles thinks that this should be true. Even if your life is mundane and boring, you’re still the main character....

Take Leave (of your senses)

Chapter 1 “I need to get out of this town. I need a break,” Stiles said. He was weary. Tired to his fucking bones. He figured if anyone understood this, it would be Derek. Derek just grunted. They were just sort of crashed out on Derek’s couch after yet another cluster fuck. Just them. Everyone else had gone home to do their thing (with each other or alone). Stiles’ dad was working a night shift and he didn’t want to be alone....

Thank You for Being a Friend (Golden Days 1/?)

Stiles didn’t think he’d ever actually reach the tender age of eighty. Had been pretty convinced, at times, that he wouldn’t live until he graduated high school. Here he was, though, in his death bed. And, wow, that sounded so dramatic. But… he was dying. And in a bed. So… Derek was sitting off to the side and wasn’t that a surprise. He’d thought he and Scott would be the bromance of the ages....

The Adventure We Call Life

Neighbours Derek remembers the first time he scented Stiles. The house down the lane had been empty for a while. As much as werewolves were known and there was peace between them and humans, most humans didn’t want to rent a house on pack lands. Or, really, to live in a wolf controlled territory. So Derek had been surprised to smell humans on the breeze. He was only seven and super curious so he followed his nose down the lane....

The Hunter of Those Who Get Out (The Totally Normal (no supernatural allowed) College Adventures of Stiles Stilinski, part 4/5)

Peter knows himself. His vices and virtues (the few he has, anyway). He embraces being a predator. Enjoys stalking and hunting. He’s a master manipulator and few things bring him as much pleasure as seeing his plans come together. He’s watching his prey. This moment has been years in the making. Getting here had taken all his skill. The challenge of a lifetime. It would be the zenith of his genius!...
